Heiko Zuerker developed updated iconography for the ha_scheduler custom integration within the home-assistant/brands repository, focusing on enhancing branding and user interface consistency. Using SVG and applying graphic design and UI/UX design principles, Heiko created new icons that align with Home Assistant’s branding guidelines and improve the visual recognition of ha_scheduler across dashboards. The work addressed the need for clearer, more cohesive visual assets, supporting quicker identification and a more polished user experience. Over the course of the month, Heiko concentrated on feature development rather than bug fixes, delivering a targeted improvement with depth in both technical execution and design alignment.
