Worked on migrating the webhook deployment platform for the google-gemini/cookbook repository from Cloudflare Workers to Google Cloud Run, focusing on improving scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. Leveraged Google Cloud and serverless functions to consolidate deployment processes, introducing webhook signature verification to enhance security and ensure authenticity of incoming requests. Updated operational documentation and the Webhooks notebook to reflect the new Cloud Run-based workflow, supporting maintainability and streamlined monitoring practices. Utilized JavaScript and Python to implement these changes, addressing both infrastructure and code-level requirements. The work resulted in a more robust, secure, and maintainable webhook deployment pipeline for the project.
