Worked on enhancing configurability and server customization for Strands deployments by implementing support for dictionary-based keyword arguments in FastAPI and Starlette constructors within the strands-agents/sdk-python repository. Updated core methods to accept flexible argument dictionaries, enabling more adaptable backend setups and reducing friction during deployment. Developed comprehensive unit tests and updated documentation and examples to ensure alignment between implementation and user guidance. Leveraged Python and YAML to improve both the SDK and strands-agents/docs, focusing on backend development, documentation clarity, and testability. This work provided users with greater flexibility and consistency when configuring advanced server behaviors in their deployments.
