Developed a Microsoft 365 integration for the basedhardware/omi project, delivering a FastAPI plugin that brings Outlook Mail, Calendar, Teams chat and meetings, SharePoint, and OneDrive directly into Omi as native chat tools. The work included designing a complete app structure, manifest, and deployment scaffolding for platforms like Railway and Heroku, aligning with existing plugin architecture. Leveraging Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Graph API, the developer enhanced reliability with features like throttling for file access, safe OData escaping, and improved error handling. This integration enables users to manage communications and documents within Omi, supporting seamless collaboration and future extensibility.
