Over a two-month period, contributed to the formancehq/helm repository by delivering deployment annotation support and Helm chart version upgrades, enabling more flexible rollout strategies and consistent version management across multiple charts. Focused on operational improvements using DevOps practices and YAML for configuration, the work enhanced deployment observability and reduced rollout risk. Subsequently, implemented security enhancements by migrating agent authentication secrets to AWS Secrets Manager, introducing configuration options for secret management and updating chart dependencies to support centralized storage and rotation. The approach emphasized robust Kubernetes integration and secret management, with all changes validated across environments to improve security and maintainability.
