During July 2025, contributed to the gchq/Bailo repository by developing a manual file rescan endpoint within the Python client, enabling users to trigger antivirus scans for specific files in a model. This feature was implemented in Python and included a dedicated unit test to ensure reliability and correct integration. Alongside this, focused on code quality by applying extensive linting and readability improvements across the client library and its tests, refining formatting and parameter usage without altering existing behavior. The work emphasized API client development, code linting, and testing, supporting enhanced security operability and maintainability for future feature expansion.
