During November 2024, Sojin focused on enhancing Korean localization within Mozilla’s ecosystem, specifically across the mozilla-l10n/www-l10n and addons-frontend repositories. She delivered new Korean currency transaction messaging and consolidated translations throughout the AMO frontend, addressing translation quality, UI consistency, and error messaging. Using JavaScript, PO, and ftl files, Sojin leveraged Pontoon-based workflows to coordinate updates across multiple repositories, reducing localization drift and improving clarity for Korean users. Her work demonstrated depth in internationalization and localization engineering, emphasizing cross-team collaboration and efficient translation management. These efforts supported international product growth and streamlined future localization iterations for Mozilla’s platforms.
