Soma Soros enhanced the openMF/web-app repository by developing a feature that introduced 'Next' and 'Last' keywords to the future allocation rule within the Fineract loan allocation module. Focusing on backend development using Java, Soma enabled more flexible and precise progressive loan allocations, allowing for date-based sequencing and improved forecasting accuracy. This work addressed the need for policy-driven loan management by reducing manual intervention and supporting clearer commit traceability for future allocations. Over the course of the month, Soma concentrated on feature delivery rather than bug fixes, demonstrating depth in loan management systems and backend engineering within a focused project scope.
