During October 2025, Sosoyan focused on the ynput/ayon-core repository, addressing a critical issue in the otio_burnin.py module related to text rendering accuracy. By correcting a conditional check from getbox to getbbox, Sosoyan ensured that the script retrieves the correct text bounding box metrics, which is essential for precise burn-in rendering of on-screen annotations. This fix, implemented using Python scripting, improved both the stability and reliability of the rendering process. While the work was limited to a single bug fix and did not involve new feature development, it demonstrated careful attention to detail and a solid grasp of scripting fundamentals.
