Worked on the openclaw/openclaw repository to enhance the reliability and data integrity of token usage metrics within the agent. Addressed a critical backend issue by implementing robust normalization logic for missing or partial assistant usage data, preventing crashes in totalTokens calculations. This solution ensured that the openclaw agent --json command remained operational even when usage data was incomplete, while also preserving existing cost data during normalization. The work focused on backend development and API reliability, utilizing TypeScript to improve system stability and resilience when handling incomplete data, ultimately reducing incident risk and maintaining accurate token and cost reporting.
