Worked on the openshift-pipelines/console-plugin repository to enhance networking reliability in dual-stack OpenShift environments by implementing dynamic IPv4 and IPv6 Nginx listen address configuration. Developed logic in shell and YAML to detect the pod’s IP family and automatically adjust the Nginx configuration, ensuring the server binds to the correct port for both IP types. This approach eliminated manual configuration steps, reduced the risk of network misrouting, and improved deployment resilience. The work also improved the maintainability of the configuration generation process, enabling faster future enhancements and more efficient incident response within DevOps and Kubernetes workflows.
