During March 2026, Spencer Burridge enhanced the user provisioning workflow in the BerriAI/litellm repository by updating the proxy user upsert process to include the user's email in the JWT at creation. This backend feature, implemented in Python, improved downstream integration and provisioning accuracy by ensuring user identity is consistently available.
