During January 2025, SpookSoftware contributed to the tgstation/TerraGov-Marine-Corps repository by developing and delivering the World Topic Throttling and Ban Removal feature. This backend enhancement, implemented in DM, removed throttling mechanisms and source address bans from world topic calls, streamlining the logic for topic handling. By reducing restrictions and simplifying message frequency controls, SpookSoftware enabled faster integration of topic-driven features and improved overall developer productivity. The work demonstrated careful change management and adherence to project review processes, reflecting a solid understanding of backend development and game development practices. No bugs were fixed during this period, focusing solely on feature delivery.
