During September 2025, Pears enhanced the jenkinsci/blackduck-security-scan-plugin repository by developing a new Black Duck Academy Resources section within the project’s README. Using Markdown and focusing on documentation best practices, Pears consolidated platform-specific getting started guides alongside a general Black Duck Academy resource link. This update centralized educational materials, streamlining the onboarding process for new users and contributors. The work addressed user enablement by reducing time-to-first-use and improving access to support resources. While the contribution was limited to documentation and did not involve code or bug fixes, it demonstrated attention to user experience and clarity in technical communication.
