During June 2025, Spurny focused on enhancing the ctu-mrs/ppa-unstable repository by expanding its compatibility with legacy Linux distributions. He developed a feature that introduced Rosdep support for End-Of-Life distros, enabling accurate package information retrieval for older systems through a new --include-eol-distros toggle in the PPA management scripts. This update streamlined the process of adding or removing PPA repositories, reducing future maintenance overhead and supporting broader installation scenarios. Spurny utilized Shell scripting, ROS, and package management expertise to automate and document these changes, addressing the challenge of maintaining support for outdated operating systems within the repository’s workflow.
