During November 2025, Liu Chang expanded hardware support in the DragonBluep/openwrt repository by implementing compatibility for the CMCC PZ-L8 router. This work involved developing device tree configurations, creating detailed flashing instructions, and setting up network interfaces to ensure seamless integration with OpenWrt firmware. Leveraging expertise in Linux kernel and device driver development, Liu Chang aligned hardware specifications with firmware requirements, focusing on build reliability and clear installation guidance for end users. The project, primarily using C and Shell, enabled onboarding of a new device family, addressing deployment needs in embedded systems and contributing to broader market reach for wireless routers.
