Worked on the openstack-k8s-operators/ci-framework repository, focusing on automation and reliability improvements using Ansible and YAML. Delivered a cleanup mechanism that ensures merged XML files are always removed, even if script execution fails, by leveraging Ansible’s 'always' block to guarantee artifact cleanup and reduce CI flakiness. Additionally, implemented binary download caching for repeated role executions, introducing idempotent checks to skip unnecessary downloads of the data router and pylero binaries. These changes improved CI pipeline stability, reduced redundant network operations, and lowered manual maintenance overhead, demonstrating a methodical approach to DevOps challenges and enhancing the efficiency of automated workflows.
