Worked on the aws/eks-distro-build-tooling repository to deliver Buildkit retry logic aimed at improving build reliability. Developed a Bash-based automation script that detects transient build failures by parsing logs and automatically retries failed build steps, reducing the need for manual intervention. Applied devops and scripting skills to integrate this logic into the existing CI/CD pipeline, leveraging retry patterns and log-based error handling. This approach addressed intermittent build issues, resulting in more stable and efficient release workflows. The solution contributed to faster feedback cycles and minimized escalations related to build failures, enhancing the overall robustness of the build process.
