Worked on the jhipster/generator-jhipster repository to deliver a comprehensive UI framework upgrade, migrating the generator’s interface from reactstrap to react-bootstrap while upgrading React to version 19. This involved adapting existing components for compatibility, refining TypeScript typings, and updating dependency overrides to support future enhancements. The migration addressed module federation dependency checks and resolved UI edge cases, such as navbar spacing and duplicate header IDs, to ensure a stable user experience. Leveraging skills in React, UI/UX design, and front end development with JavaScript and TypeScript, the work reduced technical debt and improved maintainability for ongoing and future feature delivery.
