Worked on the mongodb/awscdk-resources-mongodbatlas repository to address a deployment issue in the MongoDB Atlas private endpoint example. Focused on resolving a circular self-dependency by updating the configuration to reference the AWS private endpoint resource, which eliminated deployment failures and improved the reliability of private endpoint setups. Applied a targeted fix using AWS CDK and TypeScript, ensuring that the example maintained backward compatibility and clear resource definitions. Demonstrated attention to code maintenance and infrastructure as code best practices, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly example for configuring private endpoints within AWS environments using TypeScript and AWS CDK.
