During July 2025, S.V.S. Pendem enhanced the makeplane/developer-docs repository by updating the Docker Compose self-hosting documentation to improve performance and stability for Plane instances. Pendem raised the minimum system requirements to 4 vCPUs and 16 GB RAM, addressing scalability and reliability concerns for self-hosted deployments. This change was implemented using Markdown, focusing on clear and precise documentation practices. The work involved analyzing deployment bottlenecks and translating technical requirements into actionable documentation, ensuring users have the necessary resources for optimal operation.
