This backend solution streamlined new user onboarding by detecting pending course invitations upon user creation, enrolling users automatically, updating invitation statuses, and sending notification emails. The implementation leveraged Node.js and TypeScript, utilizing technologies such as MongoDB, Firebase Authentication, and InversifyJS to ensure secure and efficient workflow integration. By reducing manual steps and accelerating user activation, the work addressed business goals of faster onboarding. The feature demonstrated depth in backend development, focusing on workflow automation and robust state management without introducing bug fixes.
