Worked on the pantsbuild/pants repository to enhance IDE integration and streamline developer onboarding by updating the IDE setup documentation. Focused on clarifying the use of the py_editable_in_resolve feature and consolidating guidance for both third- and first-party dependencies, the work aimed to reduce misconfigurations and accelerate setup for new contributors. Added detailed export instructions for Python virtual environments to improve compatibility with IDEs such as VSCode. The technical approach centered on Python and Markdown, emphasizing clear, actionable documentation. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus was on improving developer experience and workflow efficiency through documentation.
