Developed hardware platform support for the Nvidia SN4280 within the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository, focusing on expanding device compatibility in the SONiC ecosystem. Delivered a new hardware SKU by creating platform-specific device profiles and detailed port configurations, leveraging skills in hardware and network device configuration. Integrated the SN4280 support into the build pipeline by adding new directories and symlinks, aligning the configuration with established platform workflows. Utilized INI and Jinja2 to define and automate configuration files, streamlining the onboarding process for SN4280 devices. This work enabled faster deployment and broader hardware coverage without introducing new bugs during the development period.
