In January 2026, Staleo developed the NotTooShabby Dark Theme for the Zed application, focusing on enhancing user experience in low-light environments. Staleo integrated the theme into the zed-industries/extensions repository as a submodule, enabling streamlined updates and consistent visual presentation without requiring full redeployments. The modular approach improved maintainability and allowed for a clear code trace, supporting ongoing enhancements.
