During February 2025, work focused on refactoring the Volunteer History Audit Trail within the Insomnia-IT/feed repository to enhance clarity and usability for both volunteers and administrators. The approach involved separating volunteer actions from actor actions in the audit history, introducing a role property to differentiate user views, and improving the user interface for clearer, more traceable audit trails. This targeted enhancement addressed compliance and reporting needs by making history views more transparent and user-facing. The implementation leveraged React and TypeScript, with API integration and the Refine framework supporting the frontend development and ensuring maintainable, role-specific audit trail functionality.
