Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to deliver a robust Google Chat integration focused on distinguishing between direct messages and group spaces using the new spaceType field. Leveraged TypeScript and full stack development skills to refactor types and utility functions, reducing runtime errors and improving maintainability. Expanded the test suite to ensure accurate detection of DM versus group spaces, enhancing regression safety and reliability. Collaborated closely with reviewers to align with the integration roadmap and maintain code quality. The work resulted in improved message routing accuracy and context-aware handling, with all changes traceable through a clean, squash-merged commit history.
