Developed and integrated a new device type for the Check Point SG16200 within the netbox-community/devicetype-library, expanding the platform’s inventory and provisioning capabilities. Focused on precise YAML configuration to define device specifications, interfaces, and module bays, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing networking workflows. The work emphasized maintainability by enhancing documentation and preparing the repository for future device-type additions. Leveraged expertise in device type management and networking to deliver a feature that supports policy automation and operational readiness. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering a robust, well-documented feature using YAML and related tooling.
