Stefano Delia contributed to the pagopa/idpay-deploy-aks repository by enhancing deployment reliability and environment consistency for IDPAY services. He integrated Kafka Connect and mock applications into ArgoCD, automated deployments, and aligned Helm configurations across DEV and UAT environments. Using Terraform, YAML, and Java, Stefano improved infrastructure as code practices, optimized resource allocation for Kafka Connect, and streamlined configuration management by removing unused secrets and deprecated services. He also enhanced telemetry for better monitoring and debugging. His work demonstrated a strong grasp of DevOps and Kubernetes deployment, addressing both operational stability and maintainability within a short two-month engagement.
