Worked on the porscheinformatik/material-addons repository to enhance the Stepper component’s user interface, focusing on error state clarity and accessibility. Addressed deprecated styling by replacing --warn-color with --error-color in the CSS, ensuring error feedback aligns with the current design system. Updated the stepper’s layout by removing unnecessary vertical padding, resulting in a more streamlined appearance. Improved demo accessibility by introducing mat-error elements, making error states more visible and understandable for users. Utilized Angular, TypeScript, and SCSS to implement these changes, which collectively reduced UI confusion, improved user experience, and supported faster quality assurance cycles for the project.
