During September 2025, contributed cross-language enhancements to IAM group management and session-based access control within the cognitedata/cognite-sdk-python and cognitedata/cognite-sdk-js repositories. Focused on backend development and API integration, the work introduced group attributes support in Python, enabling creation and listing of IAM groups with richer metadata and updated test coverage. In the JavaScript SDK, added a sessionsAcl type to standardize session access control, aligning with policy-driven governance requirements. Leveraged TypeScript and Python to update core layers and type definitions, ensuring robust, maintainable SDKs that support secure, metadata-rich integrations for customers across both Python and JavaScript environments.
