Developed an AI Features Policy and User Control framework for the FreeCAD/FreeCAD-developer-meetings repository, establishing governance for the integration of AI capabilities within the project. The work focused on enabling user control and transparency, allowing users to opt out of AI features as these become more prevalent. Collaborated with another team member to co-author the policy, ensuring alignment across teams and facilitating structured policy discussions. Documented the policy using Markdown, supporting future iterations and clear communication. The approach emphasized policy development, AI integration, and comprehensive documentation, laying the groundwork for a controlled and trust-focused rollout of AI features in FreeCAD.
