
Worked on the Keck-DataReductionPipelines/KPF-Pipeline repository to enhance data quality and reliability for astronomy software. Developed and integrated new WLS Quality Control checks for L1 and L2 data products, using Python to implement logic that verifies the existence, uniqueness, and date correspondence of WLS files based on night and day observations. Focused on data validation and quality control, the work reinforced end-to-end data integrity and reduced the risk of misaligned WLS data in downstream analyses. The feature was merged into the main pipeline, providing a robust mechanism for ensuring reliable data processing within the astronomical data reduction workflow.
