Developed an enhanced file transfer feature for the langgenius/dify repository, focusing on improving messaging by enabling end-stream messages to include attached files. The work involved designing a new utility to prepare file data and updating the backend pipeline to fetch and format file information for seamless transfers. Leveraging Python, SQLAlchemy, and API development skills, the implementation reduced manual data handling and improved both reliability and user experience for file attachments in messages. The project required close collaboration with other contributors and emphasized robust unit testing, resulting in a more efficient messaging system without introducing new bugs during the development period.
