Developed an Avro Schema Path Autocomplete feature for subscription filtering in the allegro/hermes repository, focusing on improving filter accuracy and reducing manual configuration effort. The work involved parsing Avro schemas to extract relevant paths and implementing utilities for schema validation, path flattening, and deep JSON search. By leveraging TypeScript and Vue.js, the developer enabled schema-aware, autocomplete-driven filtering that minimizes the risk of invalid path selection and streamlines the user experience. This approach strengthened data governance for subscription rules and provided a robust frontend solution for handling complex schema structures, demonstrating depth in Avro schema handling and frontend development practices.
