Worked on stabilizing asset management for the neu-pdi/cs2000-public-resources repository, focusing on improving the reliability of image loading across different environments. Addressed a bug by correcting an image asset’s file extension, renaming it from PNG to JPG to resolve a naming inconsistency that previously caused asset-loading errors. This change enhanced the asset pipeline’s hygiene and reduced potential user support requests by ensuring consistent behavior on various platforms. Demonstrated skills in version control, debugging, and image format handling, with all work centered on maintaining and refining existing resources rather than introducing new features. The month’s efforts prioritized stability and cross-platform compatibility.
