Over a three-month period, Stratos Trantalis enhanced the opentdf/platform and related repositories by delivering secure inter-service connectivity, robust CI/CD automation, and improved access control. He migrated backend services to ConnectRPC, centralizing interceptors and error handling to unify communication and security. Stratos automated multi-platform Docker image builds and release pipelines using Go, GitHub Actions, and Docker, integrating vulnerability scanning and cloud authentication. He strengthened authentication and authorization with Casbin policy tests and refactored health check endpoints for Kubernetes readiness. His work also included upgrading Helm charts and fixing serialization and versioning bugs, demonstrating depth in backend development and infrastructure reliability.

October 2024 (opentdf/platform): Delivered a Git Town-based CI workflow to manage stacked PRs during the connect-rpc migration. The workflow targets PRs to main, uses git-town/action to render the branch stack, and supports skipping single stacks while treating main as the default branch. This automation enhances PR visibility, reduces coordination overhead, and accelerates the migration timeline. No major bugs fixed this month in opentdf/platform; focus remained on CI automation and orchestration. Technologies demonstrated: Git Town, GitHub Actions, CI automation, cross-repo PR stacking, migration planning.
