
Worked on the chalk-ai/chalk-go repository to enhance benchmarking capabilities by building a secure, flexible query infrastructure and extending the benchmarking protocol. Leveraged Go, gRPC, and protobuf to consolidate TLS certificate handling, improve query host configuration, and introduce modular data models supporting feature sets, resolvers, and data sources. Updated protobuf definitions to include new fields for concurrency and connection management, enabling more realistic and scalable benchmarking workloads. Addressed build integrity by rolling back generated files and correcting code generation errors, ensuring reliability and consistency between proto definitions and runtime. Maintained code quality while expanding functionality for safer, more configurable deployments.
