Worked on the aws-greengrass/aws-greengrass-lite repository to enhance Docker ECR URI parsing, enabling reliable handling of namespaced images with multi-level repository paths. Applied C programming skills to refine the parsing logic, addressing edge cases involving complex slash patterns in URIs. Developed and integrated comprehensive regression tests to validate various Docker ECR URI formats, ensuring future stability and preventing regressions. Leveraged Docker and testing expertise to improve deployment reliability, reducing image-pull failures in CI/CD pipelines for Greengrass Lite. The work resulted in smoother image pulls and accelerated release cycles, directly supporting more robust and maintainable deployment workflows for the project.
