Developed support for the Unifi E7 Access Point family within the librenms/librenms repository, focusing on accurate device detection and enhanced network monitoring. The work involved creating a dedicated SNMP recording file and a new device discovery JSON to enable auto-discovery and performance metrics collection for E7 devices. Updates to the Unifi integration YAML ensured proper identification and management of these devices within LibreNMS, improving visibility and maintenance workflows for users. Leveraging skills in SNMP configuration, device detection, and YAML, the developer delivered a targeted feature that expanded LibreNMS’s monitoring capabilities without addressing bug fixes during this period.
