Worked on enhancing the reliability of terminology validation within the ehrbase/ehrbase repository by addressing a critical bug in the FhirTerminologyValidation workflow. Focused on backend development and API integration, the solution involved replacing fragile string manipulation with robust Java URI component parsing to accurately extract the terminology validation URL, even when additional query parameters were present. This change improved data integrity and reduced downstream interoperability errors. The work demonstrated careful attention to unit testing and adherence to best practices for backend data integration, ensuring that the terminology validation process now handles complex URL scenarios more reliably and maintains consistent workflow correctness.
