Worked on the microsoft/vscode repository to deliver a front end feature that enhances breadcrumb navigation customization. Developed using TypeScript, the update introduced logic to make breadcrumb icons responsive to the showSymbolIcons setting, allowing users to control icon visibility and reduce visual clutter. The implementation focused on aligning with existing UX standards and maintaining code quality, ensuring the feature integrated smoothly with the editor’s interface. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the work centered on feature delivery. This contribution improved the configurability of the editor’s UI, supporting a more tailored and consistent authoring experience for developers.
