Developed and delivered an Email Click Statistics Display with Fallback UI for the Automattic/wp-calypso repository, focusing on enhancing the visibility of email engagement metrics. The work involved implementing a dedicated display function in React, using JavaScript and TypeScript, to present email click statistics while ensuring resilience to incomplete or missing data. Robust fallback values were introduced to reduce ambiguity when unique click data was unavailable, supporting more reliable user interfaces. Comprehensive tests were written to validate the component’s behavior across various scenarios, including cases with missing or non-unique data, resulting in a more robust and data-driven front end experience.
