Worked on enhancing the reliability of multi-step web forms in the frappe/frappe repository by addressing a bug related to child table row forms. Focused on front end development using JavaScript, the solution ensured that any open child table row forms would automatically close when users navigated between tabs, thereby preventing lingering form states and reducing data-entry errors. This approach improved client-side state management and streamlined user navigation across complex forms. The work involved careful handling of web form transitions and code cleanup before page changes, contributing to a more consistent and error-free experience for users interacting with multi-tab interfaces.
