Worked on the UKHSA-Internal/data-dashboard-infra repository to enhance and maintain access control for development and application environments. Focused on Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and HCL, the developer engineered updates to IP allow lists, ensuring only authorized addresses could access sensitive resources. This included adding and correcting CIDR notations for specific engineer IPs, expanding application access controls, and updating development whitelists to align with evolving security policies. Each change was implemented with careful attention to configuration accuracy, documentation, and auditability, resulting in a more secure and manageable infrastructure while minimizing risk and maintaining developer productivity throughout the engagement.
