
Worked on the IBM/guardium-supported-datasources repository to deliver CockroachDB as a supported syslog datasource within the Guardium support matrix, addressing a gap in data-source compatibility. Using Go for backend development, the work focused on database integration and management, ensuring CockroachDB could be accurately represented and validated in the support matrix. The implementation involved two signed-off commits that updated the matrix, improving its accuracy for both customers and field teams. This addition reduced setup risk for users and enhanced onboarding by enabling CockroachDB users to achieve a tighter data security posture when leveraging Guardium’s monitoring and compliance capabilities.
