Worked on the Telecominfraproject/wlan-ap repository to implement persistent ramoops reserved memory, enabling kernel oops and console output to be preserved across device reboots for improved post-reboot diagnostics. This feature involved device tree configuration and kernel development in C, targeting the qca-wifi-6 ipq50xx udaya-a6-id2 board. The solution addressed both 256 MB and 512 MB/1 GB memory layouts, ensuring consistent behavior across hardware variants. By reserving a 1 MiB memory region for pstore/ramoops, the work enhanced debugging efficiency and system stability, aligning with tracked feature WIFI-15423 and supporting more reliable troubleshooting in embedded systems environments.
