The work centered on extending the Employee schema with a new boolean field, is_mobile_verified, to track mobile number verification status. This addition improved data integrity and enabled more robust validation processes for downstream systems. The technical approach involved schema changes using YAML, careful data modeling, and collaboration across repositories through Git-based version control. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary focus on API documentation and ensuring the new field integrated seamlessly into existing documentation and workflows.
