Worked on UI and navigation improvements across the GSA/USSM and GSA/eoc repositories, focusing on enhancing developer productivity and content readability. Leveraged CSS, Ruby on Rails, and SCSS to implement side navigation enhancements with gradient styling, reorganized headers, and increased text container heights for better readability. Addressed maintainability by refactoring navigation components and updating gem dependencies for stability. Delivered a metadata-only update to the GSA/USSM sidenav for consistency without functional changes. These efforts improved navigation discoverability and user experience while minimizing risk, demonstrating a methodical approach to front end development and configuration management within a short project period.
