During October 2024, Sunkusa modernized the CI/CD infrastructure for the aws/aws-ofi-nccl repository, focusing on improving testing efficiency and deployment reliability. By leveraging AWS, Jenkins, and Groovy scripting, Sunkusa enabled persistent clusters with containers in the CI pipeline, which enhanced stability and resource utilization for testing workloads. The work included moving p5 capacity to the CGK region and tuning deployment strategies to optimize resource allocation and throughput. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the engineering effort delivered a more scalable and maintainable CI/CD workflow, reducing manual toil and accelerating feedback loops for the development team.
